CD COVER

This cover is very interesting as it is a personal attributes to it as it is referring to kanye west having issues in collage eventually dropping out. Another er is called collage dropout. The image itself is powerful as he has used the doors as powerful metaphors to show him choosing a new path looking to the future as he come through the doors. Although it may show him being late also the title of the album suggest this ‘lat registration and he is in uniform.

DISC COVER

Image of the bear in the library consistent with dark colours can be portraying feelings. Could be referring to have spending more time in the library.

BACK COVER

Still consistent walking through doors to the other side (front of cover) new begging as he has dropped out now to become an established musician. All institutional information has been included which is expected we must do this togive our back cover as professional look.

POSTER/ADVERT

The advert has kept the same image as the cd cover. Kanye is showing his alter ego represent himself as a bear. The album name is a reference to his school life. Gold font could be a strong representation of showing his time to shine. Gold stands out very well. This is his time to shine and prosper as a renewed individual seeking success and reaching new goals.

A4 POSTER/ ADVERTThis advert for the cd is eye catching due to the use of bright colours. Typography is very royal making her appear to be some sort of queen as we see a crown and stick like the queen of England. The layout is simple. Showing herself off appearing to be great powerful and almighty. Wearing white complements this to show her as pure and possibly innocent.

CD COVER

The cover is very colourful and some sort of blur effect has been used around her but he face kept intact. Font seems to be consistent from the title to the album name. She wants to be the main focus even though there are two other girls surrounding her.

DISC COVER

Disc design is the same as cover consistency plays an important role in terms of font and bright colours.

BACK COVER

Both cd back cover I didn't know which one was the original but the gold stylish font was kept consistent. Trying to represent herself as classy rich gold has strong connotations of this as it is linked to wealth. Her clothing is arguably provocative which is a post feminist readings. She is in control sitting in a chair to show as if she's a prestigious figure and powerful

Conclusion With this research I have conducted ill be

adopting these themes into my product. Consistency seemed a very big issue but also looking good. The poster must look classy and keep similar to the cd designs. Typography being consistent seem important as this helps create brand identity. Audiences will be identity quickly. Colour choice seems to represent a mood of the artist. This can be linked to personal experiences. Our group must consider all these factors when producing our product. Image must represent our artist this can be done through mise-en-scene and I believe it would be very valuable to adhere to hip hop culture for our product.
