Did you know that deer are found in many different ecosystems? Deer are very interesting animals. Most recently, I saw a deer with no more than 3 legs! I think I saw that same deer last fall. I cannot believe it survived for the whole year, even in the winter with only 3 legs! This also means deer are very strong. Deer start to prepare for the winter months before it gets too cold. They do this by storing fat under their skin, which gives them energy for the winter.
