The Meaning Maker Studio offers trainings and workshops for teachers and/or educator teams.

Teachers and/or educator teams get hands-on experience with maker tools and projects.

Teachers can also schedule class field trips to visit the Meaning Maker Studio.

Opened in the summer of 2015, the goal of the MMS is to provide access to materials and the laboratory space for educators to learn

about Maker Edu best practices and how to integrate them in the classroom, with both digital and analog tools.

Meaning Maker Studio is both a maker space and a

innovation center designed to promote

constructivist and innovative learning and

teaching practices.

The Meaning Maker Studio is open to teachers, community members, and organizations who want

to come in and use the space for individual projects.

During the summer break, the Meaning Maker Studio hosts Summer Open Making Hours every

Friday, 10 - 3 pm. Reserve your space on Eventbrite now.

The Meaning Maker Studio offers a lending library of Maker Kits public and public charter Alameda County school educators can choose from with

materials and curated curriculum.
