MY LIBRARIAN OR PERSONAL LIBRARIAN PROGRAMS
Common in public higher education libraries and Christian college libraries – Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for example
Some academic libraries assign a librarian to every student, at TTU only assigned to classroom faculty

History @ TTU: staff identified perceived irrelevancy of library to university as #1 challenge in 2010
Reference desk stats down, identified as “waste of time” by Library Dean
Librarians started “My Librarian” program in 2012
