B. Read the following text carefully.

My trip to EuropeI have recently returned from a school trip my class took to London and Paris. It is great to see the historic

places in London such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the

Houses of Parliament, and many other places of interest. If you get tired of the historic sites, I recommend

travelling to the Hard Rock Café. It is the original, and it is always cool to get a T-shirt from there. Also, try

to visit the pubs in London. They are very relaxing to visit, but you must be at least eighteen to have an

alcoholic drink. Getting around in London is easy; just take the subway (Tube or underground as

Londoners say) to anywhere in the city.

On my other part of the trip, I visited Paris. It is probably the most beautiful city I have ever visited. I

recommend you to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, visit Notre Dame, l ’Arc de Triomphe, and the Louvre

Museum. That is the museum where you will find the famous Mona Lisa. If you are looking for some good

food, go to the Latin Quarter. There you will find many cheap restaurants. You may have to face one

problem; you should know a little French because it is difficult to get around without knowing any. Of

course you can point out what you want on the menu, and they will be able to understand you.

Another place to visit while in Paris is the Palace of Versailles, which is outside the city. It is so big and

beautiful! You can also travel in Paris by the Metro to anywhere you want.

The trip to Europe was probably one of my most memorable experiences, and I did it all in a week. The

seven days I spent travelling abroad were a life-changing experience. I am so thankful to have had this

opportunity and I can’t wait to see what new trips are being planned.
