change the profession name (in Brazil)

unite all the world public libraries inside a huge database

funny cartoon (characters are librarians)

A big problem in Brazil is that the profession name reminds directly just to libraries (biblioteconomia). It has limited and old connotations. The english name has elements that show a broader range of possibilities. My suggestion is to change it to make it more attractive to young people. The change itself should make it more popular too.

There are world databases for music and movies, for example. The idea is to connect all the public libraries databases into a huge book database. The project launch could make the right noise to mainstream the librarianship profession.

Fernanda told in the interview that people make lots of jokes about the profession (mainly because of its name). A funny cartoon using these jokes and stereotyping librarianship and other professions could become popular and famous.
