• Collaborated with State to host a GIS Summit to bring together how GIS is

shaping development and aid transparency

• Collaborated with State to design and host the Secretary Summit on impact

investing and social entrepreneurship

• Cited by the White House as a social innovation leadership example

• Partnered with Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Inveneo, Microsoft and Google to

establish Wi-Fi connectivity throughout Haiti

• Launched a serious social gaming consortium and project pilot a new way to

extend our outreach to youth in the Middle East through gaming that

teaches life skills

• Launched a program to use mobile phones to combat trafficking of women

and girls in Russia

• Launched a Universal Service Fund program to work with 13 African

government to accelerate the use of USFs to expand rural connectivity

• Driving partnerships between AID and the private sector in ICTs to diminish

one-off, non-scalable solutions
