Facility Engineering Associates, P.C. (FEA) has been working with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) Overseas Building Operations (OBO) for several years. The OBO recently developed a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) that supports real property asset management in accordance with Executive Order 13327 requirements and Department of State implementation policy called Global Maintenance Management System (GMMS). GMMS is a comprehensive facilities management application designed to carry out the day-to-day equipment maintenance activities at U.S. Embassies around the world. FEA worked with OBO to develop a 3-day, on-site GMMS training program to support real property budgeting, maintenance operations and management, and annual real property reporting. FEA designed and developed training materials and provided instructor training to OBO.
