Eagles’ Top News March 2015 Edition
Fun night is March 14, 2015. It is a fun night for the whole family. We will have games and inflatables in the high school gym, food in the cafeteria, and a dance for the BHJH students in the junior high gym and an auction in the MPR. Each homeroom will make a basket to be raffled off. It is a tremendous fundraiser for our building so please plan on helping and attending this year’s fun night.Thank you,

Band /Chorus
After a great Christmas Concert the students in fifth through 8th grade Bands and Chorus are busy preparing their music to present on Tuesday May 5 at 7pm in Wilcox Gym. This will be the evening of the Spring Concert and will feature a fine variety of music presented by the students as well as the conferring of the B & J Outstanding Music Student Award to a well deserving Eighth grade Music student.
5/6 grade news Mrs. Head's RTI class is in the process of hatching chicken eggs. They have 24 eggs in an incubator that they are caring for. They are carefully checking the incubator to make sure it maintains a temperature between 98-100 degrees. After
21 days in the incubator, the chicks will begin breaking their shells. Students will feed and care for the chicks for a couple of days and finally, the chicks will be sent to a farm to live happily ever after.

In March, the 5th grade math classes will be designing their own houses! This project will help us use all of the math skills we have learned so far this year. At the end of the project, we will put them on display out in the hallways, so be on the lookout for those! Mrs. Forbes
My homeroom just presented their “country” dioramas. We hope to finish our PowerPoint projects after PACRCC testing is complete. Sixth grade math is beginning a unit on the coordinate plane. In Spanish RTI class we just completed a unit on places. I’m still looking forward to a “warm” Spring Break. Ms. Lawson-Jones
