We will welcome you directly upon your arrival at the Marrakesh AirportfromwhereyouwillbedriventothevillageofImlil,thesmallBerbers’«Chamonix»whereyouwillstayinacharminghotel.ThenextmorningyouwillgototheMountainHutoftheToubkal(CAF)withyourguideaccompaniedbymulesforthetransportofyourluggage.

Aftertheendofthedayinhighaltitude,agooddinnerandanightrest,youwillstartveryearlythenextmorningbythelightofyourHeadlamptoconquertheToubkalandthen,willwalkdowntoImlil.

Acclimatization to Altitude, Why?

TheUTATischaracterizedByhighaltitudecourses(averageof2400m).Startingfrom2,620mfollowedby6passesover3000m,includingapassageat3690m,isoneofthehighesttrials!*»

However, it ispossible toparticipateandevenperformontheUTATwithoutanyacclimatization.Infact,thisstayisanewoption,soalmostallthepreviousparticipantdidn’tgetacclimatizedandtheirracewentwell.

Aftermanyrequests,weendedupcreatingthisshortstaytogiveyouthebestchanceofsucceedingandtoextendyourexploration.
