I F GBSAFETY INSTRUCTIONSThe two steel sections must be screwed togetheras shown in the drawing 1 . Attach the bicyclesupporttothesteelsectionsoftheweightbearingcrossbarswiththeUbracketsprovided,see 2 .Lineuptheholeonthesteelsectionwiththecor-responding position on the support girder. Thisdistanceshouldbeatleast700mm,see 3 .Attachthebracketclampstotheobliquefrontpipeof the bicycle frame and then tighten by hand,see 4 .Attachthewheelguidesonthesteelsectionswiththe2straps,see 5 .Thereafter fitting should be checked after the firstshortrunandthereafteratregularintervals.Remember thatwhen thevehicle is travellingwitha loadon its roof, there isanoticeable,differencein its performance especially when braking, whenthereiswindatthesideofthevehicleorwhenthevehicletakesacurve.Please pay particular attention to the manufactur-er’s recommendation for roof loadweight.Bicycleparts,suchashandlebarsoffootpedalsmustnotstickoutbehindtheraingutter.The bicycle supports must be removed when notinusetoprotectotherdriversandalsotosaveonpetrol.

CAUTION!Whenthebicycleisassembledonthe roof, the vehicle is considerably higherand you must be careful when putting thevehicle in the garage, coming out of thegarageorgoingthroughtunnelsetc.Make certain that all nuts are tightenedbeforeleaving.If the rear wheel comes out of the wheelguide,movethewheeltrackbackward.

INSTRUCTION DE SECURITEVisser avant tout les 2 profils ensemble commeindiquesur 1 .Fixerensuitelesupportdelabicy-clette aux profils de la traverse de chargement enutilisantuniquementlesétriersàUenéquipement,voir 2 .Utiliser le trou dans le profil correspondant à ladistancedulongerondesupport.Cettedistancedoitêtred’aumoins700mm,voir 3 .Monter les colliers de serrage dos étriers autourdutubeavantobliqueduchâssisdelabicycletteetserreràlamain,voir 4 .Fixer les roues aux rails du profile au moyen desdeuxcourroiesdeblocage,voir 5 .Contrôler lesraccordsfiletésinitialement,aprèsunbrefparcours,etensuiteaintervallesréguliers.Ne pas oublier que dans le cas de marche aveccharge sur le toit le comportement du véhiculechangeconsidérablementquandonfreine,danslesviragesetlorsqu’ilyaduventlatéralement.Respecterenparticulierlesindicationsdufabricantdu véhicule en ce qui concerne la charge admisesurletoit.Des parties de la bicyclette, tel le guidon et lespédales,nedoiventpasdépasser lesgouttièresdutoit.Pour la sécurité des autres automobilistes et pouréconomiserducarburant,ilfautdémonterlessup-portesdelabicyclettequandilsnesontpasutiliser.
