ST DOMINIC’S JUNIOR SCHOOL NEWSLETTER
One School, One Family, One Spirit
A Note From Mrs Van Dyk’s Desk As we come to the end of January 2016 we trust that all our Grade 1-7 girls are
well settled in their new grades. We trust that all our new pupils are feeling
comfortable and happy in our school environment. We welcome our Grade 1s into
the Junior School and we wish them every success as they begin their formal
schooling.
Our first day back at school began with our Opening School Mass which was a
wonderful way to start the new year with our focus on God.
The following prayer was prayed during our School Mass:- May we all remember
the words and thoughts conveyed in this prayer as we journey through this New
Year together as One School, One Family, One Spirit.
Creator God , we place this school year with all its plans , hopes and dreams
before you. Pour out your spirit on all our endeavours. Let us never be so rushed
or pressed for time that we don’t have time for one another or to reach out to
one another. In spite of study commitments, may we all find the space to ponder
what guides our thoughts and decisions each day. This we ask in Jesus’ name.
Let us all embrace 2016 joyfully and may God shower His Mercy on our school.
Welcome to new Staff St Dominic’s Junior School welcomes the following
new staff members. We wish them all many years of
