Correspondence Secretary
There are the duties of the correspondence secretary
• Handle letters, reports and even books.
• Help other secretary and typists with technical problems in their jobs.
• Train new people in the special business writing formats used in the company.
• Make sure that publications are completed accurately and on time.
Administrative Secretary
Administrative secretary is more of a supervisor, coordinator, and inspector than the correspondence secretary. Administrative secretary has a myriad of administrative duties and different from correspondence secretary because correspondence secretary takes information, changes, adapts, puts it into a format, and then types it.
Administrative secretary will sometimes write her own information, and improve that of others. Administrative secretary also supervises, schedules, and coordinates the work of others.
Administrative secretary often manage budget and doing bookkeeping .Besides, she is often responsible for preparing higher level management reports, budgets, and objectives.
Executive Secretary
The most of executive secretary duties are concerned with making boss’s job as easy as possible.
1.Handle all of the correspondence with enters or leaves boss’s office.
2.Catalog and file.
3.Handle much different kind of people, by phone and in person.
4.Schedule Boss’s day.
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or its equivalent, supplemented by courses in business practices and typing
• Three years of experience in the operation of the word processing equipment utilized in the Word Processing Center
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training
Special Qualifications
Must pass a typing test
with a net accuracy rate of
at least 60 words per
minute.
