Oxygen cutting Flame cutting operations are employed during the steel production process and
mainly :
into the steel plant on slabs, blooms and billets continuous casting machine cut
off, out of strands for transversal or longitudinal cutting and for demolition
severance with the scope to reclaim the ladle bottoms ( to reach the dimensions
of ‘ready for oven’).
Into the rolling mills for slabs size cutting, before the heating oven and the
subsequent rolling operation.
Into the shipyards for steel plates shape cuttings by pantograph.
Into the workshops for steel plate processing whose need to work out shaped
cutting by CNC.
And finally into the forge shops and foundries, for severance or quality heavy
sections shaped cutting.
All these plants could be equipped by an iron powder feed system and on
special option by a smoke suction plant.
At right side : CNC pantograph 1 motorized torch cutting thickness ranged up 600 mm.
