Harvest Hills Golf Course inFairfield played host to the2017 Sun River Electric

Cooperative Golf Tournament on July29 and raised $3,500. This year’srecipient is the city of Fairfield’s newtennis courts.In the past, Sun River Electric has

donated Automated ExternalDefibrillators (AED) to local golfcourses, and money to the FairfieldCommunity Hall, Choteau Park rest-rooms, Conrad Orphium Theater,Fairfield Swimming Pool concessionstand, Choteau walking path, Conradbaseball fence, Fairfield welcome sign,Bright Eyes Animal Care and RehabCenter, Choteau Weatherbeater and theConrad historic clock. Sun RiverElectric would like to thank all of thehole sponsors and door prize contribu-tors.In all, 72 golfers showed up to play

the four-person scramble. Golfers weretreated to lunch, hole prizes, doorprizes, drawings and a BBQ. Winnersreceived SREC Golf Tournament coats.

The tournament winners were RaySchmidt, Jordan Ratliff, Ken Meyerand Josh Durocher, shooting a 58.Other flight champions were: John andLaura Buck and Paul and Mandy Wickin the Mixed Division, and JoelMarking, Chad Sealey, Lance Vescoviand Mike Palagyi in the first flight.The 2018 Tournament will be

August 4 in Fairfield.

19th Annual SREC Golf Tournament

We Do Rebates!Don’t forget that Sun River

Electric Cooperative (SREC)has rebates for household

appliances. SREC offers $25 rebateson clothes washers, dishwashers,refrigerators and freezers that areEnergy Star compliant. Just downloadthe rebate form from SREC’s website,www.sunriverelectric.coop, fill it out,attach a copy of the receipt and sendit to SREC. SREC will then reviewthe rebate form and credit youraccount $25 per compliant appliance.Energy-Star rated appliances can befound at www.energystar.gov.Also remember that SREC offers a

$100 rebate on electric water heaters.To be eligible, the water heater has tobe at least 90-percent efficient.The water heater rebate form is also

on SREC’s website, download it, fillit out, and send it in with a copy ofthe receipt to get the $100 credit. Thewater heater must be at least 40-gal-lon capacity. 222193All rebates must be submitted with-

Operation Round-up is a charitable fund pro-gram designed to financially help communi-

ty groups in need within the Sun River ElectricCooperative (SREC) service area. The fund ismade of change from SREC members who haverounded up their monthly billing to the nearestdollar. For example: If you sign up forOperation Round-up and your monthly bill is$64.35, it would be rounded up to $65. Theextra 65 cents goes into the fund.At this time there are 220 members participat-

ing in the program. SREC’s Operation Round-uphas donated to the Teton County Ambulance fornew CPR training equipment, Conrad’s CityHall for handicap-accessible entrance doors,Pondera Medical Center for the purchase of anewer handicap-accessible van and to theGreenfield School for an automated externaldefibrillator (AED).If you are interested in signing up to donate or
