Project Assistant
Recruited to modify and re-establish the already existing Smart Grid Lab System to execute and
develop various projects across India.
Key Contributions
Found out the details on different sensors like Voltage, Current and Tilt that can be
used in our project.
Was part of the team that installed solar panels and monitoring systems in a village
called Valaaramkunnu, Waynad in Kerala as a part of Amritavarsham’ 14. Also did
the pre-testing of voltage sensors, current sensors along with the soldering of
components onto the board.
Part of the Indigo Stabilize Group, a collaboration of Maxim Integrated, Evolio, IIT
Kanpur and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Here created a test bed at the hostel
premises and renewable energy was added to the already existing load. Did the load
calculations based on the hostel loads and designed the values of inverters,
batteries. Also found out the number of solar panels required and also the wattage
per panel based on the loads.
Attended a two day workshop at Maxim Integrated Bangalore regarding Smart Meter
on September 2014.
Did the complete plumbing work like installation of pipes and taps along with the
installation of a 5000 litre tank in a village named Guptapada in Odisha as a part of
Amrita Serve Project.
