    course of the said vein, lode ormineral deposit, being shown uponthe plat posted herewith, as nearas can be. determined from thepresent developments; the claim

    being for 1500 linear feet thereof,

    together with the surface ground

    shown upon the official plat postedherewith; the said vein, lode andmining premises hereby sought to

    be patented being bounded as fol-lows:

    This claim runs from the discov-ery monument or stake 1200 feet ina northeasterly direction to the N.

    E. Center end monument or stake;and 300 feet in a southwesterly di-

    rection from the aforesaid monu-ment or stake to the S. W. Centerend monument or stake, and 300

    feet wide on each side of the centerline, the said claim being shown onthe official plat herewith posted.

    either side of car, and equippedwith siren to be approved by thesheriff, and all necessary upkeepwhatsoever for the said car, freeof expense to said County, and tokeep them sufficiently insured toprotect Santa Cruz County againstall loss by fire, theft, collision,etc.

    No bid will be considered whichdoes not offer a large sized car tothe entire satisfaction of the Sher-iff of said County.
