Why study this course at GISMA?You will learn to make decisions in situations of incomplete information by making the right assumptions. You will also gain competences and skills on how to manage people in a world of uncertainty. Using these skills to your advantage, you will realize real sustainable value creation.

Who is the course suitable for?This programme is for managers with at least 7 years of experience, of which at least 3 years are relevant management experience. The course is for ambitious managers and their organization, who are curious to manage their business in uncertainty and how to integrate sustainability in business opportunities.

What will you learn?In this programme, we approach business functions (eg. strategy, finance, HR) and the external context from non-traditional international perspectives: uncertainty, change, agility and responsiveness of organizations. The mind-set of leadership is “leading change”.

International Summer SchoolAs part of the programme, all students will attend our international summer school. This unique opportunity will take place in August 2020 and will evolve around the international Academy of Management Annual Meeting in the USA*. Partaking in the annual meeting, all students will get the chance to work with business and educational leaders from all over the world, while using this newfound knowledge for local course works and site visits.*This may be subject to change.

Extend and build up your network of like-minded professionals

The Executive MBA revolves around three core modules:

• The World, Society and Business - Understanding the essence of transitions and uncertainty

• Creating a Sustainable Future – What can be done to make a difference

• Shaping and Moving Forward – How to excel in a changing environment

Additionally, all students will work on Action and Change Projects and topics such as Self Management and Leadership Development. The programme includes an international Summer School.
