• Previously part of Czechoslovakia, Slovakia has split from Czech Republic on 1st January 1993 and became member of EU on 1st May 2004.
• Has strategic position within Central Europe: (Capital city Bratislava is 45km away from Vienna International Airport, 200km from Budapest – capital city of Hungary)
• Most of the young generation Y is highly driven and taking every opportunity emerging from the open borders previously not available for their parent’s generation. English is widely spoken among Gen Y-ers.
• Dynamic growth of economy is accelerating need for authentic leadership for long term sustainable growth.
• Public sector is not focusing on deploying talents of the people, quality demand on the labour market is missing. Investments into R&D, innovation and leadership development is neglected.
