West Rand branch ... going strong! Fokus on Hendrik Potgieter AvenueRoodepoort

Art Den

It is with great pleasure that we present youwith a Company Profile for the EBI WestRand, Sandton and Randburg.

"Face-to-face Networking is the secret toeffective one-on-one marketing," Chris vanBiljon, Founder of the Ekurhuleni BusinessInitiative (EBI), facilitates and provides aplatform for business members to meet otherbusiness owners and managers in their areato seal business transactions that otherwisemay be lost to traders outside the region.

We believe that networking increasesbusiness revenue and therefore havelaunched the West Rand, Sandton, Randburg,Krugersdorp and Westonaria Branches. TheEBI also has branches all over the country, such as Bloemfontein and Nelspruit to namea couple. Winnie Soekoe is the Principal forthe West Rand, Randburg and Sandton areas.

Winnie joined the initiatives of the EBI inJuly 2009, looking to broaden her otherbusiness that she markets, Winnie saw theopportunity to launch the EBI on the WestRand and has had great success since thefirst launch.

The EBI is a business-to-business networkorganisation and we give our members aplatform to network and do business witheach other at regular meetings.

We add value by offering specialisedservices to our members, for examplebusiness optimisation support, our EBIacademy and so on, as well as linking small-medium-to large businesses to do businesswith each other at our network meetings.

In the wake of 2010 and current WorldwideRecession, it is crucial that business peoplerealise, if they don’t network and participate, they may not be as successful as they couldbe. The Ekurhuleni Business Initiative isthere to create enthusiasm, foster a proactiveattitude and provide positive, dynamicbusiness-to-business linkages. It links smalland medium sized businesses withcorporates. This is a time whendecentralization and unbundling are therealities of our business world. A return tothe community and interdependence areconcepts long forgotten, but crucial to thesurvival of our businesses and our society atthis point in time.

We hope that the information above has beenof sufficient use to you. Should you wish tohave any other questions answered, pleasefeel free to contact Winnie Soekoe on 083-642-6327.Website: www.ebiwestrand.co.za
