A brief summary of the drawing follows:
BCHW:
This Plan Insert Sheet provides contract ready details for Box Culverts with some design data input. Designers are required to provide the final Estimated Quantities, the Precast Box Culvert Design from either ASTM C1433 or SS940 and various dimensions. Refer to Sheet 1 of the Design Data Sheet, Concrete Headwalls for Precast Box Culverts (HWDD-1) for additional information.

HWDD-1:
This Design Data Sheet provides the design of Concrete Headwalls for Precast Box Culverts in accordance with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. Information from this data sheet can be used to populate the BCHW Plan Insert Sheet to provide a completed plan set. For more information, please refer to HWDD-1 Sheet 1.
