ADCO are erecting the tower for crane number 1 Thursday and Friday.
Work will be commencing 7:00am where sections will be lifted from each truck and erected into position via a mobile crane and should not create too much disruption to our residents Feel free to contact us at [email protected] if there are any issues on these days.
The smoke detectors on res are incredibly sensitive and directly linked to the fire brigade.
The resident responsible for a fire unit(s) calls out shall be liable for the cost and in cases where no individual is identified the Residence manager reserves the right to apportion the cost across all the residents of the unit involved.
If ever you hear the evacuation tones, DO NOT assume it is a false alarm. You MUST VACATE IMMEDIATELY. The evacuation meeting points are:

GMHBA FAMILY RIDE

Free Event
The GMHBA Family Ride provides mums, dads, aunties, uncles, next door
neighbours and kids the opportunity to ride a closed section of the Cadel Ev-
ans Great Ocean Road course along the Eastern Beach waterfront with Cadel,
and experience the thrill of riding through the Start/Finish gantry, a truly
unique family experience.

Come down on Friday the 29th of January and
promote the benefits and enjoyment of being

Deakin University is a smoke-free environment. This includes all Deakin property, including: all land,
buildings, vehicles, facilities and other property owned or leased by or under the control of the University.
This policy has been implemented to create a healthy and safe environment for all Deakin students, staff
and associates.
Residences however, carpark 13 and the basketball court. Residents may smoke in this area and ONLY
this area. Residents found smoking outside of this areas will incur a fine and/or disciplinary action.
Please be considerate of fellow residents down at the village when using the smoking area
and keep the noise levels to a minimum, especially during the night time .
Please remember your final rental payment for T3 is due on the 31st of January. For those of you on a 50 week lease and have accepted an offer to stay in 2016, your new lease will not start until 22nd Febru-ary. If you need to stay in your room from 8- 22 February please inform reception immediately, so that we can book you in for these dates and send you the invoice. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you are mov-ing out on the 8th February.
