General
With years of design and manufacturing experience, Midea carried out the new 2nd generation
Air Handling Unit (MKSII Series) with a series of improvements and innovations to meet market
demand. As comfort air-conditioning, it can be widely used in hotels, theaters, shopping malls,
office buildings, schools and other places; as for industrial use air conditioning, it can also meet
the electronics, chemical, medical, pharmaceutical, cigarettes, food, light industry and other
industries needs.
The standard MKSII Series AHU can be divided into 3 types which are suspended, horizontal
and vertical types. The air volume is from 2000 m3/h to 40,000 m3/h (1170 to 23,500CFM).

Features Cold-bridge Free(Thermal break) Design
Both the framework and panels are designed to be isolated. And the cavity of the framework and panels
are filled with high-density polyurethane foam (density ≥ 50kg/m3) to cut off cold bridge completely,
which can effectively prevent cooling capacity loss and external condensate.
Multiple-seal to Prevent Air Leakage
Units using multiple “ladder-style” structure, both inside and outside ladder are with closed measures.
Coupled with the negative pressure design, can ensure that the units of air leakage rate is a low air leakage
rate ≤ 0.29%, only the provisions of the national standard 1 / 10, more no danger of water leakage.
Lower Noise Running
Famous-brand fan is in use. The professional selection software makes sure the optimum working point
and outlet velocity to guarantee the smooth & low noise air flow in the duct.

More compact size, Space saving
The dimensions of the units are optimized and the performance is maintained. The units with more
compact size save the installation space rapidly.
Optimized water pass, Higher heat transferring efficiency
The coil uses windowed high-quality aluminum fin staggered arrangement, coupled with a wide range of
flow path design optimization, which is taking into account the higher heat transferring efficiency and
lower liquid side resistance.
Better appearance, Anti-corrosion and anti-damage
Fillet corner, beautiful color steel with protection film that can against rust, corrosion and damage while
transportation.

Assembled structure, Easier maintenance
Assembled structure is easy for assembly and maintenance at site , also it’s suitable for CKD
transportation.

Coil Rows
Standard Coil: 4 Rows (A) and 6 Rows (B). 2 Rows (T) and 8 Rows (C) can be customized as required.
The standard working pressure of all the coils is 1.6MPa.
Filter
The standard filter is panel type aluminum washable pre-filter which efficiency is G3. They are installed
in the track on the air inlet frame and can be drawn out from both sides for check and maintenance. Also
the other prefilter and the middle-efficiency filters are optional, which efficiency is G2, G4, F5 and F6.
Humidifier
Line-style wet film humidifier is optional. The thickness of the film is 50-200mm.
Electrical Heater
Beside the coil, the unit can be equipped with a certain power electrical heater for heating.

Optional Water Drop Eliminator
Wet deck drop eliminator is optional as required to stop the water drops.
Power Source
The standard power source is “3¢-415V-50Hz”. The others are optional.
Control
If detailed control requirement is given, we can provide some control cabinet such as step-down starter
and inverter.
Other Accessories
UV germicidal lamp, 24V maintenance lamp, view window, water proof seal and etc.
