Tackling Young People´s Welfare in Sevilla
BackgroundBackgroundTYPE project aims to encourage the transfer of good practice and
exchange of experience in relation to tackling youth
unemployment in five
locations (Timisoara, Amadora, Seville, Ealing and Lublin).
The main challenges for this project are the following:
A significant surge in youth unemployment levels in the past
two years.
A growing proportion of young people out of work for longer
than one year.
An increase in the group of young people who can be
characterised as being in danger of being “left behind”.
A new experience regarding relatively qualified young people
being unable to secure a foothold in the labour market.

that allows to identify the starting point in TYPE project.
The work will focus on:
Analisys on transition from education/training into work in
the present economic crisis.
Analisys on how effective is the education and training
processes to get young people prepared for labour market

Analisys on social exclusion risk for specific groups of
young people.
Identify the key success factors for these topics.
