Summer Campers Wanted! The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is looking
to identify boys and girls who would greatly benefit from going to summer camp who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity. Over 1,600 girls ages 5-13 and boys ages 7-12 will
attend Marygrove/Camp Ozanam this summer and enjoy all the experiences that make a week at camp so special: swimming, canoeing, bare feet, campfires, watching for shooting stars, and so much more.
On the weekend of June 8th, a special collection will be taken up in our parish to support the work of Marygrove Camp. We thank you for your support and for being part of this change.
For further information please see
a SVDP member at the back of the
church after Sunday mass or call 647-428-2880.

The Holy Spirit will teach us and remind us of what Jesus taught.
Jesus assures us in the Gospel that he will dwell within us, and the Holy Spirit will teach us and
remind us of what he taught. This is good news for us, because it means we are not making this Christian journey alone, two thousand years removed from a period in human time. We are today, like the early Church of Jerusalem, taught and guided by the Spirit. We need only to listen and have faith in his working in us.

In the span of three months, Debbie felt she had lost everything. Her partner of 33 years died, her leg wasamputated, and she could no longer care for her beloved pets. She turned to the Society of Sharing, a ShareLifefunded
agency, who partnered her with a volunteer named Geof. Not only did Geof provide friendship, he usedhis teaching background to help Debbie fulfll a lifelong goal: learning how to properly read. Though it will beimpossible for Debbie to regain all she has lost, her life is feeling full again.
Next Sunday, June 2nd is the next ShareLife Sunday.
Please give generously.
