Shepherds’ Trust Collection As members of our Catholic community, we regularly benefit from the tireless service of our priests. They have been instruments in living out a “faith in action.” Called by God and ordained to care for His people, our priests serve our families, in churches, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, missions and on the streets. The Shepherds’ Trust supports our priests to help them live their retirement years with dignity.
The Shepherds’ Trust collection this year will take place in all parishes in the Archdiocese during the weekend of November 16th-17th. Envelopes are available at the front and side entrances for your convenience. As well, please consider remembering The Shepherds’ Trust in your will.
This trust fund is a tangible way to care for those who cared for us and to give thanks for the blessings we have received through them. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~THE SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL is
looking for new members to help serve our neighbours in need. Our parish based vocation requires members to visit the needy in their homes and provide food, furniture and clothing vouchers - but more importantly a listening ear, a helping hand and loving
heart. Our volunteer work only requires 4-5 hours per month on average. Interested parishioners should leave a voicemail (647) 428-2880 or email [email protected].“Go to the poor: you will find God.” ~ St. Vincent de Paul ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE WORD AMONG US MAGAZINE

Sadducees were unexpectedly rewarded with a firm declaration of the truth of the Resurrection. By proclaiming God to be the god of the living, Jesus strengthens the resolve of all who place their trust in him and who hope in a share in the eternal life of God.
