SCOPE OF USE
Pipes are used according to mentioned standards for transmission of gases, water and oils, and for oil and natural gas industry.
Laminated hot metal sheet is used for spiral welded pipes. They are is supplied in ball COIL which are welded transversaly and connected integrally – in noended metal sheet. Metal sheet passes through certain preparatory equipments which made driving and cutting edges. After that it comes to mechanism for shaping in spiral form. Wire and flux are selected based on the quality of the material according to EN 760 and EN 756.
Length of the pipes gained in this way during the manufacturing process is cutted in desired length with appropriate equipment for cutting. Pipe formed in such a way requires no additional rounding, because it has now been reached during the self-installing pipe forming.
The advantage of this process is that from one width of a sheet different diameters of the pipes can be obtained. Production is more economical, especially in during processing of pipes with large diameter and small thickness of wal.l
In further process pipes are checked in quality control unit.
MATERIALE

P termini tecnici specificati nell'ordine.
A fino a X65, saldatura spirale verrà esaminata in curvatura (in compressione).
or pipes delivery, important issue are technical
F conditions specified in request. Factory of welded pipes deliver pipes according to
conditions and requirements of clients, purchaser and related standards. All conditions must comply with the API standard, principal German standards and EN, respectively.
From API 5L, EN and DIN 1626, DIN 1629, DIN 2460, DIN 2461 and DIN 17 172 parameters, key terms for delivery are extracted and presented in the following pages.
Ÿ According to API - the number of tests on cutting - stretching are performed: on base material and on normal - transversal welded connection. From the first pipe and depending on pipe diameter, dimension of the batch size is specified in standard.
In one batch of 200 pieces or less from each batch of 100 pieces or less by every dimension 14 IN or larger.
Ÿ Factory control performs a test for every steel charge which is then used for manufacture of pipes according to this specification. Test report is submitted to the buyer.
Ÿ The welded pipes under the protection of the atmosphere with outside diameter 12.75 IN and larger type A in 65Kp/cm², spiral weld will be tested on inflexion (under pressure). A sample for testing in the inside seam and a sample for reversal inflexion testing on aproxx. 180˚.
Ÿ A more detailed explanation can be found in API 5L parameters.

Testing on HYDROSTATIC pressure
Ÿ Testing pressure, will be presented in standard pressure tab. 9 or higher pressures if both the buyer and the manufacturer agree (but not to exceed the value k = 0.9).
Ÿ Each pipe must undergo to hydrostatic testing control, and must resist without leakage under pressure mentioned under point 5.1 at least. Testing pressure pipes for pipes with dimension 18 INCH and smaller, lasts at least 5 seconds while the pipes with dimensions of 20 INCH and larger, lasts at least 10 seconds. Under pressure pipes will be hit with the hammer of 2 Lb (0.9 kg) near seam at both ends.

I tubi devono avere la superficie liscia all'esterno e all'interno.
Ÿ Welded spiral pipes for pipeline will be submitted in dimensions with outside diameter, wall thickness and weight according to Table 9. and paragraphs 6.2 and 6.3 respectively, according to requirements of buyer.
Ÿ Diameter
Outer diameter
Should be within the tolerances set out in paragraph 6.1.1 (inside diameter is adjusted using outside diameter and tolerances for weight).
Ÿ Wall thickness
Each pipe should be measured, to comply with requirement for thickness of the wall which in each site must be within tolerances listed in paragraph 6.1.4 except in the area of t he seam which will not be limited to plus tolerance. X42 type pipes and larger with medium thickness wall in comparison with mentioned in tab.9 can be purchased according to agreement between buyer and manufacturer.
Ÿ Lengths
The pipes will be delivered in length according to tab 8 on request of buyer can also delivered in other lengths.
Ÿ Weights
Weight of each pipe may deviate apart from the theoretical weight limits itself given by point of tolerance for thickness.
Ÿ Straightening of pipes
Pipes are taken randomly to check whether they are straight. Deviation of straight lines can not exceed 0.2 to 1% of the length.
Ÿ Edges of pipes
Pipe is sent at ends under the corner of 30 - 75 degrees, measured from the line drawn normal to the axis of the pipe and blunt, from: 1/16+-1/32 in (1.59+-0.79 mm).
Outside diameter of the pipe from 12 ¾ in to 20 in. Inclusively can be smaller max 0.79 mm from the measured diameter with length of 101.6 mm form the edge.
Ÿ The allowing avoid from the circular shape-ovality
Deviation from roundness, for pipes with dimensions 20 in and larger in the distance of 101.6 mm from the ends of the pipe, outside diameter shall not be greater than 1% of the diameter specified (nominal).
Ÿ Conditions of surfaces
Pipes surface should be smooth outside and inside. Non-significant surface roughness, or shallow longitudinal lines, which are dependant to the production process are permissible if the wall thickness is within permissible limits and usability of the pipe is not seriously endangered. Elimination of jacket of laminate, slits and scratches particularly is allowed below the limits of the thickness of the wall. Removal of surface errors with hammer stroke are not allowed. Partial repair of welding is allowed.

orrosion protection is of great importance for pipes
C used for pipeline, water pipe and oil pipeline.
Corrosion in pipelines not only can cause loss of
gas, oil, water, but may also have other serious
consequences, such as: poisoning, oil supply interruption,
delay in water supply and other industrial installations, etc.
Pipes underwent to two complete different types of
corrosion: external and internal.
External corrosion depends on the nature of the
environment in which the pipe is installed, and the interior
by the type of transportation.

terreno.
CORROSIONE ESTERNO
Depending on whether the pipes are placed above or below the ground surface of the outside pipe may underwent to the atmosphere or ground impact. External corrosion of steel pipelines in most cases is electro - chemical in nature. At the same time there are chemical reactions and the flow of electricity from the environment surrounding pipe and vice versa
EXTERNAL CORROSION
inquinamento.
CORROSIONE INTERNO
I directly in connection with fluid which is transported through pipeline. So, anti-corrosive protection is depending accordingly. Oil and gas pipelines are usually not protected internally, while pipelines are protected to ensure safety of water from pollution.

regolata dallo standard Svedese SIS 05590. ISO 8501

ANTICORROSIVA
Insulation of pipes with bitumin FOR external
protection against corrosion firstly requires cleaning
of pipe thoroughly from core of congestion,
atmospheric corrosion and other impurities then with
sticky dipping or concentrate dying .
Fabrics with an dry glass wool is rolled which is
previously wetted in spread bitumen, then it is
flattening in order to protect from the sun, reciprocal
adherence during storage and transportation. The
edges of the pipes are left unprotected 150200 mm
for connection and they are protected in the field
after assembling in order to gain continuous anti-
corrosive coating protection throughout the length of
pipeline. Depending on the impact of the aggressive
environment, external isolation layers of bitumen are
used in armoured glass fabric.

spessore 300 fino a 400 micron. Spessore ottimale
raccomandata è di 100 micron per una mossa. Dopo
aver dato ogni strato deve passare un certo
tempo(ogni produttore raccomanda il tempo) per
darsi un altro strato. Lo spessore dello strato si misura
in stato liquido con un dispositivo Elkometer. Epossidi
300 fino a 400 micron.
EPOSSIDICA
Is realized depending on the destination:
For the transport of water intended for industry after
purification a base layer is disposed for connection
with one or two layers (the base of Cinkopoks or
feripoks) by Aireles system, with thickness of 30 to 60
microns then given final layer of epoxy resin with one
or two layers realizing thickness of 300 to 400 microns,
recommended optimum thickness 100 microns for one
passage. After giving each layer a certain time have to
be passed (each manufacturer recommends time) to
give another layer. The layer thickness is measured in
liquid state with device Elcometer epoxide obtained by
mixing two components A and B according to the
recommendation of the manufacturer and giving one
or two layers depending on the requirements for
thickness form 300 to 400 microns. For this type of
resin we possess the certificate for use for drinking
water.
