Continuing its strong tradition, the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques So-ciety (MTT-S) will hold the Student Paper Competition at the 2012 International Microwave Symposium (IMS2012). The purpose of the competition is to recog-
nize outstanding technical contributions from individual students and to encourage student involvement in research and development in the areas of MTT-S. All the papers submitted online to the conference and entered as student papers will be considered for the competition. Finalists will then be selected and invited to present in a special compe-tition session to be held during the symposium, in addition to their regular paper presen-tations. The fi nalists will also be invited to attend the Student Awards Luncheon where the winners of the competition will be announced and presented with the awards.
