Rose & Richard It was about time ! The house in Virginia Highland was now too big. At their age, health and comfort are priorities, but so is their attachment to Midtown. They found a sunny condo on Ponce De Leon with a fabulous view on The Walk, always teaming with activities. They enjoy staying active, thanks to a comfortable neighbourhood : lots of tree-lined streets, benches to rest, always some activity on the Plaza. The still visit the Varsity where they had their first date, or go to the Fabulous Fox to discover new bands. Mike Lee Life is good. Only a 5-minute bike ride separates Mike’s home from his busy social life at kindergarten. His whole gang of friends also lives along the new linear park. Since then, the hide-and-seek games have become epic. Neighbours keep an eye on Mike while his dad goes to the gym or to have a quick business meeting on Poets Square. When they bike together on the GT campus, Mike already sees himself there… Scarlett From the Big Apple to the Big Peach, Scarlett is always on the go. Between business trips all over the country and brainstorm sessions with coworkers at the business incubator, she enjoys her brand new studio in the iconic and fully renovated Bank of America tower. She’s able to hold on to her very urban way of living car- free in one of the most congested cities in United States, thanks to the incredible transit options available at the nearby North Avenue station. Even though she is a “transplant”, she feels part of the community. Brad & Jacob While Brad studies Environmental Engineering at GT, Jacob is starting his career as a nurse at Emory University Hospital, a stone’s throw away from their new apartment in Marta Tower. The proximity has made it way easier for them to manage their unpredictable schedules. Now they’ve got time to climb together at the Midtown Sports Center and meet other people at poetry slam nights in their favorite café. walk the walk weaving an alternative pattern for a vibrant community The Connector is the prior link to Greater Atlanta, demonstrating the car dominance. Neverheless, Atlanta is the 15th most congested city in the US. MARTA rapid transit system and the existing grid offer good potential for more sustainable transit options, on a smaller scale. Rose & RichardIt was about time ! The house in Virginia Highland was now too big. At their age, health and comfort are priorities, but so is their attachment to Midtown.
