Institutional Development
In the year 2010 many efforts had been put for the
institutional development. Financial management
structure had been reviewed and formulated in an
accountable way. This had been followed and it was
very successful. The whole administration and
programme co-ordination structure was changed,
enhancing young volunteers to take leadership in
various programmes with the support of the seniors.
Consultations with stakeholders became a prime tool
for formulating projects and conducting programmes.

the instituitional Development. Under the
restruction process the name of
Hoadedhdhoo Association for
Development had been changed to
Huvadhoo Aid from 3 May 2010.
Inauguration of the HAD Volunteers Co

generation NGO by next year.

which the organisation‟s administrative office had been constructed
under Community Organisation Development Council (CODC)

Behind our Success
The main asset we have is our valuable members especially the active members. The Executive
Committee had played a significant role in all the programmes and projects of Huvadhoo Aid
and we are proud of our Executive Director‟s visionary and wisdom. Our programmes would not
have been conducted without the participants. The participants and the people of different islands
of Huvadhoo atoll and their support is drifted us towards success. The stake holders and
especially partner NGOs played an important role in our programmes. We are extremely thankful
to the donors and the government of Maldives. Insha Allah Huvadhoo Aid will succeed in it‟s
