2. What you will need: iron nailenamel wire drinking straw
battery and battery holdersand paper connecting wires

3. What you will do:1. Cut 6-cm of the drinking straw and
150-cm of the enamel wire. 7/18/2012
4. 2. Use the sand paper to remove theenamel cover on both tips
of the wire. 7/18/2012
5. 3. Wrap around the straw the enamelwire. Make sure that the
wire is nottwisted. Leave about 5-cm on both endsof the wire.

6. 4. Wrap 50 turns of the enamel wirearound the straw. Label
it. 7/18/2012
7. 5. Insert an iron nail inside the straw. 7/18/2012
8. 6. Connect the coiled wire to the batteryusing the
connecting wires. 7/18/2012
9. 7. Hold the connecting wires and dip thecoiled wire on a
pile of thumbtacks. Lift itup. Voila! You just made an
