Applicability The Standardised Email Sign Off Presentation applies to all mobile devices users
when sending out emails through an iOS or Android email app , using “@mtr.com.hk”
email accounts1.
The Standardised Email Sign Off Presentation is to be set up manually by users on
each of the mobile devices; and once saved in the template, applies to all new, reply
and forward emails sent out by users to both internal and external addressees.
Due to technical constraints, the Standardised Email Sign Off Presentation format
applicable to iOS and Android email apps varies from that applicable to Outlook and
Outlook Web Access. It is composed of two parts:
o Part I on email account holder information. This part is to be set up by
users manually.
o Part II on Corporate identity and information . This part is also to be set up
manually, except that “e -mail disclaimer” is automatically generated by the
system when sending to external addressees, after cl icking the “send” button.
This User Guide provides a step-by-step guide for the manual setup of both Part I
and II.

iOS App
The set up on iPhones and iPads are essentially the same. This User Guide will f irst
show the setup on iPhones, then iPads .
iPhones
Open “Settings” > Go to “Mail, Contacts, Calendars”.

Android App
This section covers the set up of the standardised email sign off presentation
through McAfee Secure Container , whch is the only authorised mobile app for email
accounts of @mtr.com.hk on the Android Platform.
The set up via McAfee Secure Container on Android mobile phone s and tablets are
essentially the same. This User Guide wil l first show the setup steps on Android
mobile phones, then tablets.
