QualificationsGrade 12/N3/NQF4Qualified Millwright (trade tested)Wireman's Licence
Experience and requirementsAt least 5 years' steel rolling mill plantmaintenance experience.

SAP experience, would be an advantage.Shift responsibility.
Personal attributes/Area specific requirementsSafety conscious.Able to work in a team.Physically fit.Good communication skills.Highly motivated.Must be willing to work over time.
Job key performance areasPlanning and organising of tasks and workplace.Fault finding and fault analysis.Repair and replace faulty equipment.Plant inspections, compilation of reports.Maintaining electrical, mechanical andinstrumentation equipment.Perform basic welding, basic rigging & first linemaintenance tasks.Pre-start check, start-up procedures, controls theprocess, shut down the process and solve problems.Providing specialist support to maintenance andproduction teams.Developing applicable knowledge and skills relatedto the position profile.Must be prepared to work shifts.Capable of working alone and under pressure.
