Cycling trips to and from Central Dunbar are few and far between. Comments received from the household surveys indicate that many people think the High Street is not very cycle friendly and donʼt feel safe cycling along it. Car and lorry parking, the road surface and lack of cycle parking are the main issues. There are a significant number of cycling trips from Belhaven to Central Dunbar. The distance of this journey makes it ideal for cycling.
The information shown has been gathered from the household surveys carried out in 2010. As a rough guide, these results are about 10% of the walking/cycling/car trips taking place each day.
