Friends

I’ve know Caroline, a.k.a. Granny for over 32 years. She andPhil have been there thru deaths, births, birthdays, holidaysweddings, all the highs and lows. They were loyal, truecompassionate friends to both me and my children. My kidsgrew up assuming all kids had three or four sets ofgrandparents.

Six years ago Caroline and I both lost loved ones precious anddear to us, both my mother “Renie” and Phil. Caroline foundher future uncertain and reached out in need. I accepted thisplea out of gratitude to be able to repay a dear friend for all herpast love and kindness.

It wasn’t until these last few months of failing health , that Irealized this was all part of God’s plan. I have come to realizejust how very much she meant to me and how I equally neededand loved her.Blood makes you a relative but true Love and Friendshipmakes you FAMILY.Some children, less fortunate never experience having lovingparents. I was blessed with two sets and my children with anextra set of grandparents.

Caroline you will always hold a special place in my heart, thanks for your unconditional love. I will always love you andnever forget you.

TrinaSgt. James Roberts Comments:

If it wasn’t for Phil and Caroline, I wouldn’t be the person I amtoday or have the career I’ve pursued without their love andencouragement. They were my “bonus” parents. Caroline Iwill always remember the good times our lunch dates and allthe love you showed me and my family and I’ll never forgetthe way you could “Rock” those blue Ray Ban Sunglasses.

Love Always James

TWENTY THIRD PSALM

The LORD is my Shepherd;I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down ingreen pastures:

He leadeth me besidethe still waters.

He restoreth my soul:He leadeth me in the paths

of righteousness forHis name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through thevalley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil:for Thou art with me:Thy rod and Thy staff

they comfort me.

Thou preparest a tablebefore me in the presence

of mine enemies:Thou anointest my head with oil;

my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness andmercy shall follow meall the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the houseof the LORD forever.
