The Cultural Agility Team of the Planning and Development Department (PDD), is organizing an afternoon event during the “Bring Your Kids to Work Day” to empower our daughters and introduce them to female role models who are in non-traditional female jobs.
This event is a way to inspire our daughters that every job is possible and attainable!
There will be speakers, an opportunity to ask questions and talk to different engineers, firefighters, building inspectors, police women, electricians, truck drivers, park rangers, computer programmers and a bunch of other amazing ladies. It is for girls ages six and older, but all boys are welcome too!
