FALL 2011 BECAUSE I’M BEAUTIFUL GIRLS CLUB, INC. NEWSLETTER
Because I’m Beautiful Girls Club, Inc. held its First Annual Celebrity Bowling Tournament at Sparez. It was a night full of fun, music and prizes. The event was an opportunity to bring awareness to the organization, as well as raise funds to assist with organizational operations and implementing a scholarship program.
The event was a huge success with Channing Crowder and Duane Starks, from the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore
Ravens, respectively, attending. The winner, Harris Williams, was awarded a crystal trophy and a gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse.
We would like to thank our sponsors for their support with this event, Publix, Nutrition Ocean, Not “Til it Sprinkles Cleaning Solutions, All Graphic Designs, Inc., Outback Steakhouse, Wells Fargo, Orion’s Kids, V&L Research and Consulting, Inc. and F.A.C.E.S Learning

Because I’m Beautiful Girls Club, Inc., for the second year, has partnered with The Family Christian Association of America’s summer camp to provide Life Skills Management and Self-esteem . FCAA has served the community for over 25 years with an impeccable reputation in the community. The eight week sessions consist of girls ages 8-15 who participate in hands-on activities, field trips, and group workshop with guest speakers. BIB has received positive reviews from the FCAA staff as well as the parents. “My daughter listens to
everything that is mentioned to her in each session and she takes it to heart. She can literally repeat everything that is said to her. She loves the program,” said Jonelle Curry.
Each year we try to bring engaging activities and lessons that will provide today’s girls with possibilities and choices. Its paramount that they make wise choices, explore their interests and set goals for themselves for a brighter future.

BASS MUSEUM FIELD TRIP
The key to encouraging development in girls is to facilitate exploration and positive interactions with the world around them. A field trip to the Bass Museum to view the Egyptian exhibit is just one of those times. The girls were amazed at the paintings and artifacts. They were also able to create their own works of art..
