Chapter Activities:
‐ Chapter Officer Election (Date: 2010/04/24)
The meeting for the selection of chapter officers was held on April 24,
2010. Chia‐Feng Lin was elected President of the chapter. Meng‐Jie Lin
was selected as Vice‐President.
‐ Symposium on Nanovision Technology (Date: 2010/06/21)
The SPIE Chapter at National Taipei University of Technology
co‐organized “Symposium on Nanovision Technology” on June 21, 2010.
The symposium was held in the 6th Teaching Building in NTUT. Four
professors of Shizuoka University in Japan and four experts with
industry experience in Taiwan were invited. They are famous for their
researches in the field of nanovision, display, and image. The schedule of
the symposium is listed below.
Dr. Hidenori Mimura Dr. Yeu‐Kuang Hwu
Dr. Yoichiro Nakanishi Dr. Ru‐Shi Liu
Dr. Masayuki Nakamoto Dr. Tzung‐Han Yang
Dr. Toru Aoki Dr. Ming‐Chung Liu
They share the most updated results on their current research, both
experimentally and theoretically. The discussions and exchanges of
opinions and ideas make this conference a valuable place for researchers
who are getting to be interested in or would like to dedicate their efforts
in these research areas.
