Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan) For the first time in recent history, SLU’s commencement exercises were held in
the month of June. The event was graced with quite good weather, allowing
families and friends of graduates to take pictures according to their heart’s wishes.
For the second time, the start of the new academic calendar will be around the
middle of August, to harmonize the university’s calendar with the prevailing
international standard. This adjustment will make it easier for foreign students to
enroll in SLU, and for SLU students to follow programs abroad.
