FAILURE HANDLING PHILOSOPHY

POWERPF checks remaining power on engines, check thrust limit

PERFORMANCEPF checks configuration (gear, flaps, slats, speed brakes), min/max speed, terrain (switch TERR on ND)

ANALYSISPIC manages the analysis, assess situation, check time (LAND ASAP / LAND ASAP) and set priorities. Both pilots shall independantly analyse ECAM indications

ACTIONPIC manages and allocates duties. Actions shall be taken according to1) TEMPO PROCEDURE2) ECAM3) QRH4) OM B Abnormal Ops5) Flight procedures, directives and knowledge

If PIC decides to start Actions before clean-up the following must be fullfilled:- Power, Performance- Gear up- Navigation cross-checked
