tributed all their assets in the CEE region to a newly created Generali PPF Holding (GPH). Long term com-
mitment of both partners to jointly develop the business in CEE and CIS, through: organic growth, M&A
and cooperation with Home Credit Group.
Generali PPF Holding is the leading insurer in the CEE region and will constitute a strong growth platform
in the high-potential CIS countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Rus-
sia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine.
We aim to become leading insurer in the CEE region. As a minimum target the value of the holding will
increase from EUR 5.1 billion in 2007 to a value of EUR 10 billion by 2012. We will build a large and di-
versified footprint in the region by entering new markets, with a focus on former CIS countries.
We will reach a market share of at least 10% in every key market to obtain scale and relevance. We will
