The coBputer sodel AIRSTRIP version 1,2 which uses the QNBA correlations,U3s utilised for G of the 8 parameters to »odel the relationship betweeninfluent/effluent concentrations, flow rates, packing height, colusndiaseter, temperature, air/water ratio, pressure drop, and packing type.

* Packing height was liaited by the constraints of the building sise.Two typical cclucn sections of 8 ft and 10-12 ft additional height forbottoss reservior, packing support, access manholes, liquid destributor,desister, and other parts of top and base of the column bring the towerto an approximate height of 28 ft.
IV. Several calculations were perforsed with the computer eodel todetermine the relationships between the loadings, concentrations,teeperature, and colusn sizing in order to detersiine the optiauKcoluisn sise for the above assumptions. The results of some of theseruns are shown in the attached plots.
