Trixie gave Beau and Buddy a happy, enthusiastic, tail wagging ‘welcome home,’and

they followed her down the hallway into their new, big backyard, in the afternoon

sun. They all played together and ‘dined in the sunset’. It was a beautiful experience

to watch them begin to make their own tracks, as they circled our yard, full speed

ahead.

When darkness fell we lit a fire and watched our ‘new canine pack’ unite and fallasleep together .But not for long....as Beau and Buddy were not quite ready to sleep

the night yet.

I followed them outside and sat Trixie on my lap and we watched in disbelief as they

continued to run rings around our backyard till about 2am.So, I put on their new

matching winter coats [and wore my ski parker] and we did a few laps around the

neighbourhood, under the stars and a full moon [I carried Trixie when she was tired].

As we made our way, down our street, Beau and Buddy remembered which house

was their new home and quickly darted up our front path and steps with their tails

wagging. I gave them the choice of their own beds, but they chose mine.
