I just started my eighth grade school year at Dock, where I’ve been going since preschool. A few of my interests include playing soccer, baking, and being outside. Today I will be getting baptized with our church, SMC, and I have been going here for about five years. Coming to Souderton five years ago was a big change for me but it feels like I was welcomed into a big and welcoming family. My name is Alex Grieser and I am a Freshman at Souderton High School. Some hobbies of mine are hunting, fishing, baseball and basketball. I have been coming to SMC for 14 years (my whole life!). My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” (Parents: Mike & Rhonda Grieser) Hello! My name is Aubrey Clemmer! I am in 7th grade at Indian Valley Middle School! I love dance, and I have been taking ballet for 8 years! I’ve been coming to my SMC my entire life. I am active in my youth group, and I love helping serve Wednesday meals with the other youth. I appreciate SMC because of the community that surrounds it. Every Sunday morning people greet you with smiling faces, and if something is going on in your life you know people will pray for you. (Parents: Nate & Brooke Clemmer) Hi, I’m Justin Detweiler and my mom and dad our Marc and Jody. I have 3 older brothers and 1 younger sister. I go to the Dock and I am a freshman. Some of my hobbies are snowboarding and playing soccer. I have been in SMC for 3 years now. I'm involved with the youth group. I really appreciate all the ways they care for us. Whenever I’m struggling, a Bible verse that is meaningful to me Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Grace Hackman, 12, lives in Green Lane with her family: Shaun (dad), Kara (mom), Larkin (sister), Daisy (dog), Jack (cat) and 17 chickens (some have names, others don’t). Grace is a 7th grader at Indian Valley Middle School. She enjoys chorus, student government and SAVE. Outside of school Grace plays soccer with the Souderton Travel Storm Team and is an active member of the SMC Jr. MYF. Grace has attended SMC since she was a baby. She enjoys visits to Spruce Lake with friends and family as well as camping trips with friends. Grace doesn’t have a favorite Bible verse, she still has a lot of Bible left to read, but one she finds inspiring is “Two are better than one… for if they fall, they will help each other up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
