Forms Library Design open the form to design or modify.
Matter select the Matter to use to fill out the selected form.
Template create a template of the highlighted form.
Fill form Run and fill out the highlighted form.
Add an existing letter or form to the library.
Add Many add multiple forms or folder of forms to library.
Edit edit the link and properties information.
Delete delete the highlighted form.
Settings set your forms defaults and management preferences.
Swap View changes the method of forms display.
Forms Library
When you Add you fill out the form information details shown here.
Form Name browse to, and select the form you want to add.
Form ID used to name the form.
Category assigns the form to a group.
Jurisdiction jurisdiction.
Type what type of form is it.
State what state is the form for.
Alf what ALF file to use.
Source file when adding a form a second copy is copied to a source file by default and shouldn’t need to be changed. Form type PDF, Word, WP, etc.
Notes anything you may want to add describing or pertaining to the form.
Help text if you want any text, instructional or otherwise to appear at the top of the form when editing.
Folder assigns form to a folder.
Document Forms – Form Letters Highlight the document you want to modify or turn into a template then click Design.
Document Forms – Form Letters Place your cursor where you want to add a field.
Then click Insert Merge Field and select your field.

Adding a form letter or document you want to turn into a form is the exact same process – click on Add.
Populate the forms library information just like the previous example.
Forms Library
Design opens the highlighted form and allows you to add fields, edit the content, etc.
Add Field click then draw a rectangle (placeholder) where you want to add a field (once you draw the rectangle, you have to click outside of it then back inside).
Forms Letters
Form Letters give you the ability to send personalized letters to multiple people quickly and easily.
Forms Letters First open any Name record, then select/create a Query that will limit the form letter to only the people you want to receive it.
In this example the Query selected will limit the letter to only Active Clients whose last name begins with the letter H.

In Mail Merge you can select the Form letter to use and check Open form for editing if you want to make changes to it or insert additional fields.

When you click Done to run the merge you will see this message. Always say Yes.
