Churches of Christ Care provides residential aged care services with the support of skilled and experienced aged care workers. Staff possess formal qualifi cations in providing high quality care and services to the elderly and undergo regular police criminal history checks. Staff will work closely with residents to design and plan the assistance they require to ensure all services are tailored to their needs.
Who provides the care?
Residents are encouraged to maintain independence; however, staff will give extra help if needed. Assistance can be given with showering, personal hygiene and dressing, the dispensing of medication, dementia support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, emotional support, rehabilitation and communication, with additional support available during any short-term illness.
Our service embraces the philosophy of client-focused care, which recognises each person’s individual preferences, values, lifestyle choices and needs, and optimises wellbeing. This is facilitated by the development of ‘partnerships in care’ which include the resident, their representative, care providers, allied health providers and others who form part of a resident’s community.
