By now your summer activities are most likely “winding down” and you’re beginning to think about fall—and we hope you’ve marked your calendar for the 45th Reunion and Homecoming of the Last Great Class. October 4–7 is coming quickly and we have great plans for a weekend that brings us together for Our Stanford: Fun, Relevant, and Enlightening.

If you haven’t made up your mind, we encourage you to take a look at the incredible range of events enclosed. Here’s why we, especially, don’t want you to miss out:

• Fun! We heard you loud and clear and we promise you an evening of friends, great memories, terrific food and cocktails at our Class Party. Mini-Reunions are always a fun time to reconnect with classmates. And don’t forget the Football game where we will get a chance to cheer our “post-Andrew Luck” team to victory over Arizona.

• Relevant! Our Class Panel, Renewing and Recollecting, will share stories about some interesting, important or unusual things that our classmates have been up to, post-60-years-old, in order to inspire the rest of us—or jolt us out of our usual ruts.

• Enlightening! Stanford has developed an outstanding menu of events to make for a gratifying weekend. Classes Without Quizzes ranging from using genomics to discover and stop diabetes to estate planning in uncertain times are a tangible reflection of the academic resources you only find at Stanford.
