Dive Safety through DAN-SAWhat started as a small group of scuba diving enthusiasts with a desire to make the sport they love safe, has grown into an internationally-recognised, non-profit organisation that has served more than 1 000 000 members internationally. Serving scuba divers for more than 30 years internationally, DAN provides emergency assistance, medical information resources, educational opportunities, travel cover benefits and more.
For more than three decades, in co-operation with like-minded businesses and organisations, we have made great strides in diving safety around the world. We have invested our resources in diving safety research; education and treatment of injured divers; and providing critical incident prevention and management resources to divers, dive professionals and dive businesses – all dedicated to minimising the effects of diving injuries.

Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment programme You will have access to the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) programme. This component of the DAN-SA DSP programme is aimed at actively preventing diving injuries.
The HIRA goals and objectives include:– Initiating and then growing participation by all diving service
providers;– Providing risk and safety awareness education to all participants;– Offering risk mitigation and control education courses based on

DAN-SA Industry PartnersFAQsWho is eligible to become a DAN-SA Industry Partner? To qualify to be a DAN-SA Industry Partner, you must be located within the DAN Southern African region. Regions of coverage include Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zaire, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
How does a DAN-SA Industry Partner earn DAN-SA rewards?As a DAN-SA Industry Partner, you can earn rewards for new individual or family memberships you refer to DAN-SA. For every 10 members you have referred, you will receive DAN-SA promotional products.
How do I know how many members I have referred to earn DAN-SA rewards?You can either log in to your DAN-SA Industry Partner account or call your dedicated customer service team at +27 11 266 4900. You need to create an online account the first time you use the online services.
How do I get a custom referral link for my website? After joining as a DAN-SA Industry Partner, you will gain access to the different DAN-SA symbols. You can access the symbols at any time by logging into to your DAN-SA Industry Partner account or by requesting for us to send it via email.
How do I ensure that I receive credit when my customers join DAN-SA?Ask your customers to use your business name when completing the application form to join DAN-SA. You may also want to include the DAN-SA symbol with a link to the online application form in an email when encouraging them to become a DAN-SA member before attending a class or a trip.
What information will you need for my directory listing on the DAN-SA website?DAN-SA will need as much contact information as you can provide! Also, tell us which DAN-SA classes you teach and with which training agencies you are affiliated. What is my DAN-SA Industry Partner password?Your password for your DAN-SA Industry Partner account is encrypted. If you forget your password, simply click “Forgot password” on the login page and you can reset it. Alternatively, you can call a DAN-SA Industry Partner representative at +27 11 266 4900. A representative will reset your account so you can create a new password.
I would like to sell DAN-SA products in my store. How do I do that?DAN-SA Industry Partners receive special pricing on most of the products sold by DAN-SA. This often provides enough of a margin for you to be able to offer your customers select products for resale. To place a product order, you can call your DAN-SA Industry Partner representative at +27 11 266 4900, send your order via email or place your order through the DAN-SA store.
