Proven TechnologyOur technology is based on research developed at the University of Vienna in Austria and successfully commercialized in Europe for 20 years. We use the licensed technology and process design to convert biomass into syngas from which green hydrogen is extracted with renewable natural gas as a co-product. Our gasifier technology offers higher system efficiencies compared to older, air-blown, and oxygen-fired gasification systems. The carbon-intensity of our clean fuels’ will be among the lowest in the energy sector — providing the opportunity for significant carbon credit sales and increasing our partner’s bottom line. By giving monetary value to biomass waste we are creating a reliable, long-term, and sustainable fuel supply for the market.
Vision for GrowthCalifornia has 35 million tons of available biomass waste every year. Using the Yosemite Clean Energy technology, the potential for hydrogen production exceeds 1.4 million metric tons per year. If fully utilized, the supply of hydrogen would replace an estimated 35 percent of the annual diesel requirements for California. Our goal is to enable the biomass industry to meet this demand by constructing 50 plants over the next 12 years across the state — and 150 plants across North America. Serving the economic interests of the biomass owners, we will build resilience in the local agriculture and forest communities. By marketing under a unified brand, we will create strong consumer recognition and product differentiation so that from coast to coast, Yosemite Clean Energy will be the recognized leader in the new zero emissions fuel market.
