2013 Results GCSE• 98% of examinations taken were graded A*-B

• 85% were graded A*-A

• 51% were graded A*

• 100% of students gained the national ‘gold standard’ of at least 5 subjects at A*-C, including English and Mathematics, and 100% of pupils who took the English Baccalaureate were successful.

2013 Results A Level• 100% pass rate from A* to E

• 93.7% of all examinations taken were graded A*-B.

• Students have also had stunning success with university entry, with 19 girls accepted by Oxford and Cambridge.

• Students to source own placement at a reputable company. • Sole traders not accepted. • Must be within the Greater Manchester area. Placements out

of area will be classed as unauthorised.• School’s duty of care - The company must agree to a Health

and Safety risk assessment visit. This is a requirement of the Local Authority.

Work experience 14-18th July 2014• Government funding now ceased. School will be subsidising

part of the cost of the risk assessment visits, however, £25 from parents to be made via Parentpay.

• Paperwork to be completed:– Self-placement form– Copy of the Employer’s Liability Insurance – paperwork

cannot be accepted without this.– Medical form if appropriate.
